why stardust? *
Stardust unifies us all.
According to space experts, all humans are made of elements found in old stars!
All humans have a desire to be loved, cared for, seen, understood, and respected.
our values
At Stardust Therapy, our work is rooted in creating a therapeutic environment where anti-racist, neurodivergent-affirming, diversity-affirming, body-positive, sex-positive and kink-affirming, Health and Every Size (HAES), and abolitionist values are at the forefront.
If you have any questions about what I value please don’t hesitate to ask!
Meet Stephanie
Hi! I’m Stephanie (she/her) and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a queer and neurodivergent therapist with a love for my dog, music, coffee, and plants. In my non-working time you can find me hyper-fixating on the same song/album for, like, the 50th time, spending time with friends, and probably starting a new crafting project.
As a therapist, I am committed to creating a therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, supported, and valued. I myself have been in the client chair and understand the significance of a supportive, caring, and empowering therapeutic relationship. I believe it is within this supportive relationship we develop that meaningful and foundational work can happen.
My approach is rooted in positioning you the client as the expert of your own life. My role is to support you in aligning with and supporting your authentic self. I apply a trauma-informed lens and draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet your unique needs in therapy (such as but not limited to elements from parts work/re-parenting, emotion-focused, dialectical behavior therapy, somatic, systems, feminist, and relational frameworks).
The vibe I bring to the (virtual) therapy space is laid back, collaborative, and authentic. I am dedicated to fostering a therapeutic place that feels safe for you to exhale. You can expect I’ll sprinkle in humor as a therapeutic tool from time to time!
